November 26, 2021, Karachi – House Building Finance Company Limited (HBFC) has recently set up an exclusive childcare center for its employees, acting on the belief that daycare facilities would dramatically enhance the performance and productivity of young parents, especially working mothers. The inauguration ceremony took place in Karachi at HBFC Head Office.
The center has been established with a view to ease the burden on working mothers struggling to juggle their parental responsibilities with their careers.
The center consists of a sizeable indoor play area with different activities accommodating children of ages ranging from 2.5 months to two years with an environment emphasizing particularly on child safety and hygiene.
Located within the Head Office premises, the day care center offers a much-needed relief to all young parents, working at House Building Finance Company Limited.
Expressing her views on this newly built facility, Nadia Somani, Head – Compliance and Key Person for Diversity and Inclusion Projects, HBFC said,
“Working parents at HBFC can now leave their children at the center and focus on their work, knowing that their children are just a step away. This initiative is one of many taken by HBFC as part of the company’s commitment to diversity.”
Speaking at the occasion, Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Imran Ahad said,
