Overview:  The position will be responsible for three or more large, diverse and complex projects in the areas of information technology, quality improvement, strategic objectives and goals. This role requires expert level communication, organization and critical thinking skills. A self-starter with the ability to track and manage multiple tasks and competing priorities is required. The applicant must be well organized, with solid experience providing executive level presentations and status reporting. The applicant will be responsible for leading teams to deliver projects (s) than span across one or more business units. Manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improve project delivery. The position will be authorized to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the projects produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.

 

Qualification: Masters / Bachelors degree (16 years of equivalent education) in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields from HEC recognized institution.

 

Age (as of last date of submission of application): Maximum 45 years

 

Experience (Post Qualification):

  1. Minimum 10 years’ experience of proven experience in managing successful project deliveries including strategic planning, budget/cost management, risk management and change management.
  2. Experience of working in a high pace environment.
  3. Experience of taking initiatives and ensuring timely execution.
  4. PMP, Agile, Six Sigma, Prince2 certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads transformation projects or a collection of multiple projects.
  • Responsible for end-to-end engagement from inception to closure, ensure that right software development approach is followed.
  • Identify and bring together a variety of technologies to deliver a complete information system that supports operational and management objectives.
  • Participate in scoping, planning, cost estimating, statement of work development and risk assessment, including but not limited to defining goals and objectives, identifying and documenting stakeholder requirements, resource requirements, project budget, project risks and the translation of the stakeholder’s requirements into specific deliverables.
  • Ensure projects are completed on-time, quality and within budget on stakeholder expectations.
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases projects.
  • Create visibility of overall operational progress on ongoing projects by developing and implementing project management systems and dashboards.
  • Timely preparation of communications, visualizations and presentations for relevant external stakeholders on short deadlines.
  • Analysis of operational data to report and benchmark operational KPIs to support organization development and complex market and industry datasets to support proposal and publications development.
  • Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change risk and issues.
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
