Mr. Muneeb Zia is a corporate lawyer and senior partner of a commercial law firm. He has over 25 years of experience of advising banks, DFIs, commercial companies, multinational enterprises and state-owned entities. He specializes in banking, business transactions, commercial and energy projects, investment, privatization, real estate development and regulatory affairs. He has handled a number of arbitrations in contractual disputes, and acted as arbitrator in several of them.

Mr. Zia advised the Federal Ministry of Finance and FMU at State Bank of Pakistan on economic law and policy and countering financial crimes for over 12 years. He represented the Government of Pakistan before several international institutions for over 10 years. He has been providing law reform consultancies to the World Bank, UNODC, USAID, IFC, GIZ and ADB for over 20 years. He is a trainer of regulatory frameworks, and has delivered over 50 trainings in the last 10 years. He was a visiting lecturer of commercial laws at leading universities of Pakistan for over 7 years. He holds an LLM degree from UK, and BA and LLB degrees from Pakistan.
